Cookies Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. Cookies and browser storage
AI Video Detector uses cookies and similar browser storage to support sign-in, preferences, security, and website measurement. Cookies are small browser-stored values; local storage can retain preferences between visits. They are separate from the videos and reports stored for your account.
2. Essential and preference storage
Authentication cookies maintain your signed-in session so the service can associate uploads and reports with your account. Security-related requests may also use browser identifiers to protect access and prevent abuse.
Preference storage can remember choices such as language and theme. Removing or blocking this storage may reset those choices. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent uploading for detection or viewing private My Video records.
3. Analytics and diagnostics
When configured, Google Analytics records page views and usage information, Microsoft Clarity records interaction information and session activity, and Sentry collects error diagnostics. These services may use cookies or other identifiers. Clarity can associate a signed-in session with your user identifier and email.
The exact identifiers and lifetimes depend on the enabled provider and browser. Session cookies typically end with the session; persistent cookies or local storage remain until expiry or deletion. We do not describe analytics information as fully anonymous or promise that all storage disappears when a tab closes.
4. Your controls
You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s privacy settings. Browser extensions or provider opt-out tools may offer further controls for analytics. These actions do not delete videos, reports, or account records held by the service.
This policy explains storage behavior; it is not itself a cookie preference control. The current site does not provide a separate on-site preference panel for each analytics provider. Where consent is required for non-essential technologies, the applicable consent requirements still apply.
5. Related processing and updates
Video files are uploaded to cloud storage and processed through the detection provider; they are not stored inside cookies. The Privacy Policy explains account-linked video processing, report retention, and deletion requests.
We update this policy when storage practices or the services used by AI Video Detector change. The date above identifies the current version. Contact support for questions about cookies or privacy.
