Refund Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers payments made to AI Video Detector for subscriptions and account credit packs. It explains how to request review of a charge related to your account. A detection result is a probabilistic assessment, not a guarantee that a video is authentic or AI-generated.
Current account credits are separate from video detection billing. A credit purchase does not by itself include a specified number of video checks or higher detection capacity. Check the offer and checkout details before purchasing.
2. Subscription refunds
You may request a full refund within 3 days of a subscription payment if no more than 5% of the resources or credits included in that subscription have been consumed. Subscription renewals use the same 3-day and 5% conditions.
Outside those conditions, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, subject to the exceptions below and applicable mandatory rights. Cancel before the next renewal through your account’s billing controls if you do not want another charge. Cancellation does not automatically refund a previous payment.
3. One-time credits and detection outcomes
One-time credit-pack purchases are generally non-refundable after the credits have been delivered, except for verified billing errors, qualifying service failures, or refunds required by applicable law.
A “Suspected”, “No”, or unavailable detection result does not by itself establish a billing error. If a paid feature failed, include the task identifier so we can examine whether the purchased service was delivered. Do not repeatedly submit the same video to resolve an uncertain charge.
4. Errors and service interruptions
If the payment system charged the same order twice, contact support with the transaction references. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded.
If a major failure of our systems prevents access to core paid functions for more than 48 continuous hours, you may request a prorated refund for the affected period or equivalent account credits. We will review the affected purchase and outage. Processing failures must be assessed against the service actually purchased.
Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable withdrawal rights, take precedence over conflicting terms here. This policy does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived. Charges collected independently by another provider are subject to that provider’s handling and applicable law.
5. How to request a refund
Email support with your account email, order or transaction ID, payment date, amount, and reason for the request. For video-related issues, include the task ID and a short description of the failure. Do not send passwords, API keys, or full card details.
We aim to review requests within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. The payment provider or bank may take a further 5–10 business days; actual timing can vary. We may request additional information needed to verify the payment.
6. Policy updates
This version is dated above. Future policy updates will be posted here. Review your purchase confirmation and the policy applicable to your payment, and contact support if a change creates uncertainty about your request.
